About Us

SIMO.io is a Lithuanian startup founded in 2019 with a mission to revolutionize the way homes interact with technology. Our team consists of seasoned IT professionals with expertise across a variety of industries including cybersecurity, UI/UX design, DevOps, web and app development. We came together with a shared vision: to create the most reliable, cost-efficient, and professional smart home system—one that can transform every home into a smart home.

In 2021, we proudly completed our first installation in Lithuania, using our custom-developed software. Building on that success, we launched our smart home installation services across the country in 2022, helping homeowners experience the convenience and security of a connected home.

Our products have undergone extensive testing in real-world environments, ensuring their reliability. In 2024, after refining and perfecting our hardware and software components, we expanded globally, making our system available to homes worldwide.

But we don’t stop at just creating a product—we believe in the power of collaboration. In 2024, we opened up our platform to the world by launching a global open-source community. We invite developers and enthusiasts alike to contribute, share ideas, and help us innovate even further. At SIMO.io, we are committed to making smart home automation accessible to everyone, while continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
